I studied at the University of Lancaster (1984-1987, BA (Hons) Psychology and Organisation Studies) and at the University of Leeds where I qualified as a Clinical Psychologist (1990-1992). Following this, I continued to be employed in the NHS in a range of adult mental health settings. My last substantive NHS role was for nine years as the Consultant Clinical Psychologist for an Early Intervention in Psychosis Team. I started to work full time in independent practice in 2011.
